Ahmedabad based CRAMS major Dishman Pharmaceuticals & Chemicals has posted a 17.9 per cent rise in net profit in the quarter ended September 30 to Rs 28.29 crore. Net sales during the quarter, however, was down by 2.13 per cent to Rs 212.79 crore from Rs 217.43 crore in the corresponding quarter previous fiscal.
For the first half of the fiscal, the company's net profit was down from Rs 63.14 crore in H1FY10 to Rs 55.54 crore in the first six months this fiscal ending September 30.
