The company had posted a net profit of Rs 180.57 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
Consolidated total income rose to Rs 750.21 crore for the quarter under consideration from Rs 657.50 crore for the same period year ago, the company said in a filing to BSE.

In another filing to BSE, Divis Laboratories said its board has recommended a dividend of Rs 20 per equity shares of Rs 2 for the year ended March 31, 2014.
Shares of Divis Laboratories ended trading at Rs 1,237.85 per scrip at close on BSE, down 4.33% from its previous close.
