Ashok Kumar Agarwal, director of the Pawan Kumar Ruia- promoted company, said the management was trying to restart production at Sahagunj in a phased manner, starting with industrial products in the first phase.
Agarwal was speaking to shareholders at the company's annual general meeting here.

When asked by the shareholders that what does the company intend to do if the final court order goes against it, Agarwal said: "We will take a decision at that point of time."
Currently, operations at both Sahagunj and Ambattur (Tamil Nadu) are suspended since October, 2011 and February, 2012, respectively.
The AGM was attended by a very small group of shareholders.
Agarwal and other officials declined to interact with the media after the AGM.
