Leading educational solutions provider – Educomp, is vying opportunities in the vocational education sector of North-East. The company has identified North-East as a potential region with “enormous growth opportunities” and, hence, is in the process of setting up its vocational training institute – IndiaCan, in at least 10 locations across the region.

The company recently inaugurated its second institute in Guwahati and plans to soon foray into Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram and towns in Upper Assam.

“North-East is a potential market with enormous growth opportunities in the education sector. We will be looking to launch 10 more centres across North-East to add our existing network to 12 in this financial year,” said Vinay Sharma, vice president of IndiaCan, who was in the town to inaugurate the second branch of IndiaCan.
