Ram Mohan, chief executive officer of Edyounet, said the company planned to grow its business via the franchise model. Small and medium entrepreneurs in towns can set up and maintain the tele-classroom infrastructure and technology in colleges that agree to provide them space.
A total of 30 colleges across Kerala have already signed up for this first-of-its-kind, live, digital distance learning platform. This will help students to have access to job-oriented courses and training for competitive examinations.
