The new facility will predominantly focus on Product Design System on Chip (SoC) solutions and VLSI engineering. This is an expanded facility spanning across 22,250 square feet up from 11,000 square feet.
"We have doubled our Pune design center capacity in space, and look forward to adding to our team in line with it. Pune has an immense talent ecosystem to deliver the top-notch quality of development projects our clients entrust us with. Aerospace and defense, embedded and semiconductor design are challenging areas to work in but we are positive about our growth," Pratul Shroff, founder and CEO, eInfochips said.
The Pune facility services clients across the world and this is the third facility expansion after Ahmedabad and Bangalore in 2013, in addition to a new design center in Noida.
The new center will also have a specialised lab and center of excellence that would work on design projects in aerospace and defence, VLSI/semiconductor and video related technologies.
