Ernst & Young To Benchmark Infrasoft Banking Software

Infrasoft Technologies, a Batlivala & Karani angel-funded software development company, has appointed global management consultancy services firm Ernst & Young to conduct a full-scale review of its banking solutions software.

The review of its solutions is being done so as to fulfil the compliance requirements of 10 countries across the globe.

The project is expected to be completed over a period of one year. Hanuman Tripathi, managing director, Infrasoft Technologies, said "We are in the process of consolidating our global operations and with our domain expertise in banking and finance we decided to make our solutions compliant with standards specified in different countries."

Tripathi said Ernst and Young may also work as a deployment partner for implementation of these solutions at a later stage.

Sunil Chandirami, director , Ernst and Young, said, "We are working on benchmarking Infrasoft's banking products to global standards and in creating a product that measures up to international specifications in every aspect. We are also working on enhancing the delivery capabilities of the products and are confident of making it world-class."

Infrasoft Technologies, as part of its consolidation plans has set up subsidiaries in the United States , United Kingdom and Singapore operating on a localised basis with each of these subsidiaries servicing specific regions.

Infrasoft also has set up offshore development centres in each of these locations to cater to its own market in terms of developing and customising solutions to local customer needs.

The company has already converted its Mumbai operations into an offshore development centre to cater to the Saarc region, the Middle East and Africa.

The offshore development centre in Singapore will cater to the Asia - Pacific region, the UK development centre to the European market and the US based development centre will oversee the US and Canada.
