Gammon to make 4.5 km Punjab road

| The project has been cleared despite strong opposition by heritage lovers. Talking to Business Standard, Municipal Commissioner K S Kang said the elevated road would greatly ease the traffic congestion in the city. |
| This will be the city's first elevated road. The elevated roads will be designed to give direct access to vehicles coming from either the Wagah Border or from Delhi or Chandigarh to Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh. |
