Gayatri Projects net up 42.72%

Gayatri Projects Limited reported a 42.72 per cent increase in profit to Rs 15.33 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2009, as compared with Rs 10.68 crore during the corresponding period last year. Net income increased to Rs 333.92 crore, up 30.21 per cent from Rs 256.43 crore. The board of directors approved an interim dividend of Rs 2.50 per share on 11.10 million equity shares of Rs 10 each, the company said
