GEI Industrial Systems, maker of air cooled heat exchangers and air cooled vacuum steam condensers, today posted an over two-fold jump in net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010.
The company's net profit during October-December quarter increased to Rs 8.68 crore from Rs 3.91 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, GEI said in a statement.
Net sales of the company also grew by 78.56 per cent at Rs 109.44 crore as compared to Rs 61.29 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, it added.
Boosted by smart numbers, shares of GEI closed with a gain of 3.70 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange at Rs 189.30.
