Graphite India asked to shut Bangalore plant

The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) has asked Graphite India Ltd to close its Bangalore plant till further orders, citing environmental pollution. In a statement to BSE, the company said the board ordered closure of industrial operations in the company's plant in Bangalore till further orders, alleging non-compliance with the provisions of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
