GVK Developmental Proj bags 690 Mw project in J&K

GVK Developmental Projects, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GVK Power and Infrastructure, has won the bid to develop 690 Mw Rattle Hydro Electric Project on river Chinab, Kishtwar district, in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.

The project would be built on a Built, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis. The estimated cost of the  project is around Rs 5,000 crore and targeted for commissioning by 2017.
