Total income for the quarter under review remained almost flat at Rs 727.29 crore as compared with Rs 730.40 crore while the expenses rose 31.76% to Rs 689 crore from Rs 522.91 crore in the year ago period.
Revenues from power plant operations dipped one third at Rs 32.08 crore as compared with Rs 96.09 crore in the corresponding previous quarter. Though revenues from airport operations rose to Rs 592.80 crore from Rs 528.85 crore in the year ago period the profits from this segment fell to less than one third level at Rs 44.96 crore from Rs 143.42 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
