 "HIL Q4 net profit rise three fold at Rs 12.84 cr")
Hyderabad-based cement and building products company HIL Limited has reported a three-fold jump in net profit at Rs 12.84 crore for the quarter ended March, 2014 as compared with Rs 3.20 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The company's total income rose 16.39% to Rs 277.29 crore from Rs 238.25 crore in the corresponding previous quarter.
For the full year the net profit stood at Rs 66.86 crore, more than eight fold increase compared with Rs 7.13 crore in the previous year.
Total income for the year grew 28.26% at at Rs 1,125.41 crore from Rs 877.47 crore in the previous year. HIL is a part of C K Birla group.
