The $700 million Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) is all set to increase the prices of its popular mid-sized sedan Accent and the largest selling small car Santro in the next few months.

The company is also slated to launch its new diesel engined Accent with a common rail direct injection system (CRDi) during Dussehra next month. Company sources indicated that the price increase on the Accent would be in the range of about 2.5 per cent plus excise duties and would be effective from the end of October.
