Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC) today said its consolidated net profit rose by 25.64 per cent to Rs 291.84 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2009.
Total income rose to Rs 1,034.35 crore in the latest quarter from Rs 946.51 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
On the standalone basis, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 250.72 crore in the quarter under review, up 19.14 per cent from Rs 210.43 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal.
Total income rose to Rs 896.76 crore in the latest quarter from Rs 848.77 crore in the same quarter last year.
Shares of IDFC were trading at Rs 158.60 on BSE, up 1.47 per cent from its previous close.
