IMPL launches four-screen Grand Cinemas in Ahmedabad

In a bid to establish itself as a low cost multiplex player in the city, Inspire Multiplex Pvt. Ltd. (IMPL) launched its first property 'Grand Cinemas' in the state of Gujarat at Ahmedabad. Launched at Agora Mall in Ahmedabad, the four screens multiplex with a total capacity of 802 seats will be selling tickets as low as Rs 25.

"Grand Cinema looks to become one of the world's most preferred and profitable cinema exhibition companies, with substantial market coverage and share. For this, it looks to offer value for money to customers with competitive pricing, innovative designs and consistent service. We have entered the Indian markets to provide our customers with the high-tech amenities and entertainment. The launch of our property in Ahmedabad is a reinforcement of our mission to provide state-of-the-art entertainment experience to all movie-enthusiasts," said Amitabh Vardhan, Director and Joint CEO, Grand Cinemas. A fully carpeted multiplex in Ahmedabad, Grand cinemas will be providing innovative features including 'Grand class service' which will have all recliner seats and will be selling tickets as low as Rs 25. Besides, the company is the only cinema group in India to serve chocolate and strawberry popcorn which are imported from US.

"The new multiplex has all digital screens with latest 3D technology and would have five types of seating arrangement which includes Normal, Europe, Elite, Grand Class and Love seats. We have tied up with some of the world's best technologies that include XT Sound, MY MAX and DCI compliant 2KD cinemas to give you a super cinema experience," Vardhan added.

Moreover, as part of its GB24 rule in their theatres, the company has a mandatory and extensive training programme for all their employees to provide outstanding customer service to their customers.

The opening of the multiplex in Ahmedabad makes Grand Cinema's property count in India to two and by the end of 2012, they have plans to open around 11 more. As of now, the company plans to launch its next in India at Gurgaon.
