The Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Manufacturers Association has received in-principle approval for its proposed special economic zone for pharmaceuticals, bulk drugs, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and formulations to be located at Nakkapalli mandal in Visakhapatnam district.
This is among the three in-principle approvals and three formal approvals granted by the Board of Approval of the Special Economic Zones on Tuesday, according to a government press release.
Among other decisions, the Board has granted co-developer status to Centric Solutions Private Ltd in the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC)’s IT/ITeS special economic zone at Madhurawada.
It also gave a similar co-developer status to Prime Electric Ltd in a multi-product SEZ granted to APIIC to be located in Naidupet and Pellakuru mandals of Nellore district.
