TTK Prestige has been the fastest wealth creator between 2007 and 2012
According to Motilal Oswal's 'Annual Wealth Creation Study' consumer sector has bounced back into wealth creation. ITC is the largest wealth creator, TTK Prestige the fastest and Kotak Mahindra Bank the most consistent wealth creator in India.
ITC has topped the list significantly improving on its 7th rank in last year’s study. This breaks the 8-year stranglehold of Oil & Gas companies with Reliance Industries topping the list in the last 5 years, and ONGC in the 3 years prior to that.
Kotak bank's quality management has been the key factor behind its consistent wealth creation process. Similarly, TTK Prestige has been the fastest wealth creator between 2007 and 2012. It's stock price multiplied 24x, translating into annualised return of 89% during the same period.
Over the last five years, wealth creating companies have delivered point-to-point return CAGR of 20% against only 6% for the BSE Sensex.
