 "ITC Q3 net up 10.5% at Rs 2,635 crore")
Diversified group ITC today reported a Q3 net profit of Rs 2,635 crore compared to Rs 2,385 crore in the year-ago period, an uptick of 10.5%.
Total income rose 2.5% to Rs 8,942 crore in the quarter. EBITDA margin was at 38.7%
Cigarettes revenue came in at Rs 4,142 crore for the quarter ended 31 December, 2014 compared to Rs 4,116 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
Hotel revenue was Rs 330 crore compared to Rs 315.4 crore in same quarter last year.
The agri revenue dropped to Rs 1598 crore from Rs 1786 crore in the year-ago quarter. The paper and packaging business revenue also dipped to Rs 1199 crore from Rs 1257 crore.
