Jabong sets up R&D center in Bengaluru

Online apparel retailer Jabong.com has set up a research and development (R&D) center in Bengaluru, called Jabong Labs, a company release on Monday said. Jabong Labs will provide customers experience adept with the latest scientific know-how.

"The goal is to marry the best of consumer experience that comes with buying and experiencing fashion with the state of art technology on the official website and mobile application," Jabong said in a press release. "This technology lab will be used to further improve our back-end systems with a focus on meeting long term technology goals.

The R&D center will house software engineers and technologists who will further contribute to make Jabong a market leaders in the online shopping business, the company said.
