Jhunjhunwala's asset management firm acquires SpiceJet shares

Rare Enterprises acquired 75 lakh equity shares of SpiceJet for Rs 13.4 crore

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala's asset management firm Rare Enterprises has purchased 75 lakh equity shares worth an aggregate amount of Rs 13.41 crore in low cost airlines SpiceJet.

According to the data with Bombay Stock Exchange the firm has purchased 75 lakh eqity shares in the airlines for Rs 17.88 per share, in a bulk deal.

It may be noted that the investment from Jhunjhunwala comes at a time when the promoters of SpiceJet is looking for an investor into the company.
