JK Cement Q3 net up 62% pc to Rs 46 cr

Leading cement manufacturer JK Cement today said its net profit rose by 62.15 per cent to Rs 46.49 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, over the same period corresponding fiscal.

Total Income rose to Rs 433.16 crore for the latest quarter against Rs 363.35 crore for the same period previous fiscal, JK Cement said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

For the nine-month period ended December 31, 2009, the company posted a net profit of Rs 182.09 crore against Rs 82.56 crore for the same period last fiscal.
