The transmission and power system business of the company received Rs 886-crore order from both India and other countries such as Afghanistan, Americas and Abu Dhabi, it said in a release.
The company has received two orders valued at Rs 590 crore in the power segment from Afghanistan and Rs 73 crore orders for supplying of towers, monopoles and hardware from the Americas.

Shares of the RPG group firm were trading at Rs 61.75 apiece, up 1.98% during the afternoon trade on the BSE.
