KFA Q1 loss nearly doubles at Rs 1,157 cr

Recorded no income from operations in first quarter

The crisis-stricken Kingfisher Airlines today announced its first quarter results. The airline reported a loss of Rs 1,157 crore, up 77.3%, versus same loss recorded in same period last year. 

The company, that shut operations early this year after it was unable to pay its debts to lenders, reported no operating income in the first quarter. 

However, its other income was at Rs 46 lakh versus Rs 72.4 crore in the same period last year.
