While the company revenues grew to Rs 582.26 crore during the first quarter, an increase of 16 per cent on a year-on-year basis, the earnings per share considerably fell to Rs 1.50 from Rs 2.82 last year, a statement released said.
The operating margins of the company also fell by 183.26 points, which the company attributes to 8.45 per cent increase in production costs. The depreciation cost almost doubled during the quarter to Rs 19.29 crore while the interest cost too saw a huge leap to Rs 7.62 crore, the statement said.
