Ravinder Singh Thakran, managing partner - L Capital Asia, has joined the board of multiplex chain operator PVR Ltd as additional director.
L Capital Asia had picked up 10% stake in PVR for Rs 57.7 crore through a preferential issue, at a rate of Rs 200 a piece. L Capital also invested Rs 50 crore in PVR's subsidiary - PVR Leisure Limited.
L Capital Asia is the private equity arm of the global luxury conglomerate LVMH group. In India, L Capital made investments in Genesis Luxury and Fabindia.
On Thursday, shares of PVR closed at Rs 219, down by 1.90% on BSE.
