Engineering major Larsen & Toubro today said it has bagged two orders worth Rs 1,017 crore for construction related works.
The company has secured a design and build order worth Rs 566 crore from software firm Cognizant Technologies Solutions India for construction of their IT campus at Chennai, L&T said in a statement.
Further, engineering major's construction division has also been awarded a Rs 280 crore project from IREO Pvt Ltd for constructing multi-storied residential apartments at Gurgaon in Haryana.
Besides, L&T's Buildings and Factories Operating Company, part of Construction Division, has received orders valued at Rs 171 crore for the development of factory buildings and other add on works from existing jobs from various clients, it added.
The shares of L&T were quoting at Rs 1,637.50, marginally down by 0.12 per cent in the morning trade on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
