The Jaigad-Karad and Jaigad-New Koyna 400 Kv transmission lines, totalling 169 km, will be executed by transmission line business unit of ECC- L&T's construction division, the company said.
The order involves survey, supply of components such as transmission line power members, conductors, insulators, hardware accessories.
The company has bagged this contract against stiff domestic competition and the project is to be completed in 18 months, L&T said.
L&T's stock was trading at Rs 2397.20, 0.73 per cent higher than Friday's close.
