LIC Housing Finance Q2 net up 25.85% to Rs 171 cr

LIC Housing Finance today said its net profit rose by 25.85 per cent to Rs 171.24 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2009, against the same period last fiscal.

Total income of the company rose to Rs 834.89 crore for the latest quarter ended September 30, 2009, as against Rs 704.68 crore in the same period last fiscal, LIC Housing Finance today said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). 

Shares of the company were today trading at Rs 777.95 on the BSE, down 1.51 per cent from its previous close.
