As part of the launch, the 10-month-old startup has organised a gathering of small goods vehicle owners and other stakeholders to share the new technology-driven methods for efficient and smarter handling of freight movement under its Smart Urban Delivery Van Network (Smart UDAN) platform.
The Smart UDAN platform is conceptualised and built as a collaborative platform, which connects various stakeholders of urban freight on a single platform. “It primarily connects owner drivers of light goods vehicles, three or four-wheeled, within the city with various shippers or users like businesses, NGOs, government and households,” the firm said.
Already operational in Jaipur, Rajasthan and now in Hyderabad, the Smart UDAN will be introduced in all the key Indian cities, it said.
