M&M tractor sales jump 26% in August

Auto major Mahindra & Mahindra's Farm Equipment Sector (FES) division today reported a 26.20 per cent increase in tractor sales in August to 13,435 units.

The company had sold 10,646 units during the same month last year, the company said in a statement.

Domestic sales were up by 22.56 per cent to 12,453 units as against 10,161 units in the year-ago period, it added.

Exports during the month also jumped over two folds to 982 units compared to 485 units in the year-ago month.
