Mahindra Lifespace Developers, the real estate and infrastructure development arm of the Mahindra & Mahindra group, today said its net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, grew marginally by 1.25 per cent at Rs 11.31 crore from the same period a year ago.
The firm had a profit of Rs 11.17 crore in the December quarter last financial year, Mahindra Lifespace Developers said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Income from operations rose to Rs 55.65 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 43.39 crore last year.
While, for the nine-month period ended December 31, 2008, the company has registered a profit after tax of Rs 32.26 crore, a 25.37 per cent decline against Rs 43.23 crore last fiscal.
Shares of Mahindra Lifespace were closed at Rs 144.9, up 2.9 per cent on the BSE today.
