"We will launch at least three more new models which include A-Class premium hatchback, SUV GL and a diesel variant of B-Class," Mercedes-Benz India Managing Director & Chief Executive Eberhard Kern told reporters.
The G63 AMG, priced at Rs 1.45 crore (ex-showroom Mumbai), will replace the G55 AMG that was launched two years ago.

"We are slightly optimistic and looking forward to good volumes this year. The luxury car market will be better than the previous year," he said without putting a number for growth rate nor the company's sales target for this year.
The luxury car maker, which sells eight models in the domestic market, sold 7,138 units in 2012 on the back of new models, that included the new M-Class, C-Class AMG performance edition and the C-Class sport edition.
Kern, however, said much would depend on the forthcoming Budget. "We are hopeful of relaxation in taxes and don't expect they will go further up. Taxes here are already much higher than many other countries."
