Mercedes-Benz March sales soar 89%

Premium car maker Mercedes-Benz India today reported 89.32% rise in its sales for March at 833 units, the highest recorded in a single month.

The company had sold 440 units during the corresponding period last year, Mercedes-Benz India said in a statement.

During the January-March period, the company's sales soared by 66.54% to 2,135 units from 1,282 units in the year-ago period, it added.

"The fascinating products, exciting design and aggressive performance of our products continue to enthrall our young customers and automobile aficionados. Our sales numbers reflect this appreciation of our customers," Mercedes-Benz India Managing Director and CEO Peter T Honegg said.
