Monsanto Q1 net up by 12.5%
Agrochemicals firm Monsanto India today reported a 12.59 per cent increase in its net profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2010, at Rs 58.66 crore.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 52.1 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009, Monsanto said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
During the quarter under consideration, the company's total income stood at around Rs 201.80 crore, a decline of 17.8 per cent against Rs 245.6 crore in the year-ago period.
