IT major MphasiS is mulling acquisitions in the BFSI and capital market space, a senior company official said today.
"We are looking at acquisitions in the BFSI and capital market space," MphasiS President (Emerging Markets) P A Krishnan told reporters at the Nasscom summit here.
On the prevailing environment, he said, "Demand is positive and the current pipeline is very healthy."
Asked if the company was looking at any particular geography and the likely size of the acquisitions, Krishnan said the company would look at any opportunity that would support its business.
"We will consider whatever will support our business and the (acquisition) size could be anything -- all that matters is that it should suit our business," he said.
