Multiples Private Equity sells shares worth Rs 191.8 cr in Cholamandalam Investment

SBI Mutual fund buys shares worth Rs 134.89 cr

Multiples Private Equity has sold shares worth Rs 191.8 crore Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Ltd, a NBFC arm of Murugappa Group.

Multiples Private Equity Fund and Multiples Private Equity FII I have sold 38,75,000 shares at Rs 495 a share, according to BSE's bulk deal data.

As of September 201, these two funds together was holding 67.07 lakh shares representing 4.67% of the company. Multiples Private Equity Fii I - Fdi was holding 47,77,403 shares, representing 3.33% and Multiples Private Equity Fund was holding 19,29,948 shares representing 1.34%.

SBI Mutual Fund has bought 27,25,000 shares at Rs 495 a share, aggregating Rs 134.89 crore.

Other buyers include, Tata Trustee Company Ltd Trustee for Tata Mutual Fund bought five lakh shares at Rs 495 a share, amounting to Rs 24.75 crore, Birla Mutual Fund bought four lakh shares at Rs 495 a share amounting to Rs 19.8 crore and Sundaram Mutual Fund has bought 2.50 lakh shares at Rs 495 a share, amounting to Rs 12.37 crore.
