Nagarjuna Agrichem in the red: Q4 net loss at Rs 10.81 cr

Net income from operations for quarter under review stood at Rs 106.87 cr, as against Rs 129.42 cr, down 17.42%

Nagarjuna Agrichem Limited, a Hyderabad-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of pesticide technicals, formulations and fine chemicals, has witnessed a Rs 10.81-crore net loss for the fourth quarter ended March 2013, as compared to a net profit of Rs 74 lakh in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Its net income from operations for the quarter under review stood at Rs 106.87 crore, as against Rs 129.42 crore, down 17.42%.

For the full year ended March 2013, the company has reported a net loss of Rs 12.66 crore, as against a net profit of Rs 7.32 crore, while its net income from operations plummeted 4.45% to Rs 614.44 crore, as compared to Rs 643.07 crore.

Nagarjuna Agrichem’s scrip is currently trading at Rs 4.13 on the BSE, down 5.28%, over the previous close of Rs 4.36 a share.
