Nandan Nilekani, c0-founder and chairman of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has acquired over one per cent stake in Dhanlaxmi Bank. Nilekani holds 9,93,827 shares in the bank, which translates into 1.17% stake as on March 31, 2011.
Apart from Nilekani, there are 22 shareholders who hold stakes between one and seven% in the bank.
At 12.15 pm, the stock of Jyothy was up 6.87% on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) to Rs 124.50.
