The world's cheapest car, the Nano, has arrived in three showrooms of leading Tata Motors dealers in the city today.
All the dealers have received the premium or LX version of the car that is priced at Rs 1.84 lakh ex-showroom in Kolkata. "There has been a footfall of 400-500 interested people in the showroom since morning," informed an R D Motors official. Each dealer has received only one car and would have to rotationally dispaly it in multiple showrooms.
Only three dealers in the city, including R D Motors, Lexus Motors, and K B Motors will be selling the Nano in Kolkata.
The dealers have started selling the booking forms since the last two days and each one has sold over 300 forms so far.
