It had posted net profit of Rs 20.99 crore during the July-September quarter of the previous fiscal, 2012-13.
Net sales of the company, however, declined to Rs 162.91 crore during Q2, 2013-14, compared to Rs 169.16 crore during the same period of the previous fiscal, Natco Pharma said in a filing to the BSE.

Shares of Natco Pharma today closed at Rs 792.45 apiece on the BSE, up 4.02% from its previous close.
