 "Natco Pharma Q3 net up at Rs 37 cr")
Hyderabad-based Natco Pharma Limited has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 37.15 crore for the quarter ended December 2015, a 159% jump over Rs 14.34 crore net profit in the corresponding quarter previous year.
Total income from operations grew 41.23% at Rs 276.04 crore for the quarter under review as compared with Rs 195.46 crore in the year ago period.
A steep increase in formulations business has primarily contributed to the revenue upside as well as to the profits.
During the quarter the revenue from formulations business more than doubled to Rs 202.61 crore from Rs 97.33 crore in the year ago period.
