New CGM takes charge at SBI Chennai

Rao joined SBI in 1982 as probationary officer and has experience in credit, international banking and private Equity

State Bank of India has announced that P S Prakash Rao has assumed charge as the chief general manager (CGM) of the bank's Chennai circle on Wednesday. Rao joined SBI in 1982 as probationary officer and has experience in credit, international banking and private Equity.

He also had a stint at Vancouver, Canada, for over four years. Prior to this, he was working as general manager of the Chandigarh circle, according to a release.
