| Appaji joined Pharmexcil on deputation from NPPA for a period of three years. |

| He has a doctorate degree in pharmacy and has around 30 years of experience in various government organisations like Andhra Pradesh drug control administration, Bureau of Industrial Costs and Prices (BICP), among others of the ministry of chemicals & fertilizers, and National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA). |
