Nitin Paranjpe to take over as CEO of HULBS Reporter / Mumbai February 28, 2008Nitin Paranjpe will be taking over as managing director and chief executive officer, Hindustan Unilever (HUL), from Douglas Baillie.According to a release issued by HUL to the BSE today, Baillie will be joining the Unilever executive team and taking on the role of president, Western Europe.Paranjpe is currently executive director, home & personal care, and his new appointment will be subject to approval of shareholders in April, the release added.Harish Manwani, chairman, HUL, said: "The changes reflect our strong commitment towards leadership development and our tradition of leveraging experiences and synergies of talent across markets.
