NMDC to set up steel plant in Jharkhand

NMDC, the state-owned iron ore miner, today said it has incorporated Jharkhand Kolhan Steel, a wholly owned subsidiary company on 29 September for evelopment of steel plant in the state.

In an exchange filing, the company said it will be building the steel facility through the special-purpose-vehicle (SPV) route.

Shares of NMDC were trading almost flat at Rs 95 per share on the BSE.
