| In town to launch its second exclusive store in the city, VY Masih, marketing manager, Hi Fashion Clothing, said 10 Numero Uno outlets would be opened in Punjab by the year-end. |
| "In a month's time, we are going to be in Patiala, followed by Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Amritsar, Mohali and Panchkula," said Masih. |
| The company is also looking at penetrating the north-east and the south, where it plans to have outlets in Chennai, Cochin and Coimbatore among others. |
| Each of these 450 sq ft to 1500 sq feet store housing the entire Numero Uno range, from jeans to non-denims, troopers, capris, T-shirts, sweat shirts and accessories for both men and women will increase the pace of the fashion retailing market in these cities, said Masih. |
| Currently, the brand is available at stores like Lifetsyle, Shoppers Stop and Ebony and at more than 600 multi-brand outlets across the country. |
| On the company's plans to diversify to other products, Masih said, "We will also be adding eye-wear and talks are on with international players regarding this. In the footwear segment, we have launched slippers and we will add sports shoes soon." |
| Aimed at making the brand more popular among the youth, the company plans to bring a Numero Uno rock music event to Chandigarh, targeted at the 16-35 age group. |
