Speaking to reporters in the sidelines of Global Mobile App Summit and Awards (GMASA) 2015, a summit on mobile applications organised by Apps World magazine, Anand Subramanian, director - marketing communications with Ola Cabs said, "We are currently present in 100 cities. We want to take it to 200 cities by end of this year."
He said that with establishing presence in major cities, it would be looking at smaller cities and towns to set up its operations and it would require setting up of various factors to enable services to the customers there. However, he did not divulge the investment required to expand the presence.
The company is currently running a beta version of Ola Cafe, an on demand food service as a beta version in four cities - Delhi, Mumbai, Bengarluru and Hyderabad. The company is looking at tie up with local restaurants to offer the cafe service in Chennai soon, he added.
