Olympia Group launches commercial projects with investment of Rs 100 crore

The projects to be completed by 2017

Real estate developer Olympia Group, has announced launch of two new commercial projects in Chennai with a total investment of Rs 100 crore. This, along with an expansion of its existing commercial space in the city, would bring in a total of 300,000 sq ft of premium commercial space to Chennai by 2017, said the company officials.

Plans are to set up two 10 storied commercial projects, Olympia Teknos and Olympia National, at Guindy SIDCO Industrial Estate, in an area of 111,500 sq ft and 70,500 sq ft, respectively. The Group will also expand Olympia Tech Park, its existing facility in the same area, with a new floor of around 120,000 sq ft

Ajit Chordia, managing director, Olympia Group, said that the easy access to different modes of transports, residential areas, social infrastructure and proximity to job-generating industrial clusters, has created huge demand in the area.

"Looking at the demand for high quality commercial space in Guindy, we at Olympia wanted to capitalize on the opportunity and fill the gap with Olympia Teknos, Olympia National Towers and the expansion at Olympia Tech Park," he said.

Olympia Teknos is expected to be completed and handed over by September 2017 and Olympia National will be handed over by December, 2017. The expansion in Olympia Techpark will also be completed by June 2017, added the company.
